We're starting to build this network in the way we first envisioned -- from the ground up, working from the county level. We're creating a suite of tools designed to support organizers working at the county level -- including things like a bulletin board, a calendar of events, maps and statistics, local officials, media outlets, etc.
If you are a local organizer and might find this interesting, get in touch. We have to authorize you as an admin for your county, and once we do, you should be all set -- adding new members, posting events, sending broadcast emails to your group, adding new specialized groups, linking to other local groups around the USA in terms of the issues that are hot where you are.
"As challenging as they are, it's not the magnitude of our problems that concerns me the most. It's the smallness of our politics.
"America's faced big problems before. But today, our leaders in Washington seem incapable of working together in a practical, common sense way. Politics has become so bitter and partisan, so gummed up by money and influence, that we can't tackle the big problems that demand solutions.
"And that's what we have to change first.
"We have to change our politics, and come together around our common interests and concerns as Americans.
"This won't happen by itself. A change in our politics can only come from you; from people across our country who believe there's a better way and are willing to work for it.”

House GOP in Baltimore, and over the weekend, Sarah Palin at the Tea Party convention in Nashville.
For me, there's been a lot of network growth. This little "Purple Alliance" project is feeling a lot of
push. There's a powerful surge of energy ...
Hi, Bruce:
I heard almost all of it, and I took some notes, which I will post. Some of it is personal opinion.

Anybody happened to see Obama with those GOP leaders today? It was on MSNBC -- I didn't see it all,
but what I did catch was great.
He was up on stage taking questions -- and what comes to mind for me is

He was brilliant -- and what I was getting looked and felt very honest and real.

She let her opponent get away with misleading the public and media about the cause of the current major problems
and shifting the blame for the things most are concerned about from the Republicans who primarily were the cause of
the continuing problems to herself and the Democrats (similar to what is occurring elsewhere). The problems are
still with us and won't go away soon. They will have ...
